Vercel integration

Vibe coding on your own Vercel

Your Blaubok site is hosted on a Vercel account in your name. The build creates the project, sets it up and deploys every change. The dashboards, the domain and the bill are yours.

What it does

Set up on your Vercel, with your token

Creates your Vercel project

Linked to the repository in your GitHub. The main branch is your live site; the preview branch gets its own preview address.

Sets your environment variables

Your Supabase URL and keys, your site address and a cron secret are set for production, preview and development.

A preview for every edit

Chat edits are pushed to the preview branch first. Check them on the preview address, then click Publish to put them live.

Your own domain

Add your domain in the Domain tab and point it at Vercel. The SSL certificate is issued automatically by Vercel.

Scheduled jobs

Features that need them, such as booking reminders, run as cron jobs on your Vercel project.

Every deployment kept

Vercel keeps each version of your site, so you can roll back to an earlier one from your Vercel dashboard.

Your part

One token to paste

Add it in the project’s Connections tab. It is checked when you save it and stored encrypted. Revoke it in Vercel and Blaubok can no longer deploy, while your site keeps running.

Preview, then Publish

Nothing goes live until you say so

Your repository has two branches. Visitors only ever see main.

  1. 1

    Edit in chat

Each change you ask for is committed to the preview branch of your repository.
  2. 2

    Check the preview

Vercel builds the preview branch at its own address. Click through it on your phone and your laptop.
  3. 3

    Click Publish

Blaubok merges preview into main, and your live domain updates as soon as that build finishes.
FAQ

Vercel questions

What Vercel plan do I need?

The free Hobby plan works for most sites. On Hobby, scheduled jobs can run at most once a day, so features that need more frequent jobs work best on Pro. Vercel bills you directly for whichever plan you choose.

Does Blaubok charge for hosting?

No. Hosting is between you and Vercel. Blaubok charges credits for AI chat and a one-time fee per built-in feature per project, never for hosting or traffic.

Why does the token need full access?

The build creates your project, sets environment variables, attaches your domain, starts deployments and reads their status. Name the token “blaubok” so it is easy to find, and revoke it at any time in your Vercel settings.

Do I need to connect Vercel to GitHub?

Yes. Vercel deploys from your repository, so your Vercel account needs access to it. Connect GitHub in Vercel’s settings, or install the Vercel GitHub app for the repository.

Can I deploy under a Vercel team?

Yes. Paste the team ID next to your token in the Connections tab, and the project is created under that team.

What happens to my site if I stop using Blaubok?

It keeps running on your Vercel. If your plan and credits run out, there is a 14-day grace period, then the engine version your site uses is committed into your repository, so it keeps building and deploying on its own.
