The short answer

Blaubok or Webflow?

Webflow is a visual design tool that produces real HTML and CSS. Designers and agencies use it for marketing sites with custom layouts, animations and a CMS, hosted on Webflow. It rewards people who think like designers, and the learning curve reflects that. Blaubok asks for a description, not a design. You say what your business does and who it serves, and it builds a Next.js site where the CRM, WhatsApp lead alerts, bookings and checkout already work. Webflow’s forms collect submissions, but a sales pipeline or a booking calendar usually means another tool. With Blaubok they are part of the engine, in an admin your staff can use. Ownership differs too: Webflow hosts the site, while Blaubok puts the code, data and hosting in your own accounts. Choose Webflow when the design itself is the product. Choose Blaubok when you need the site to run the business.

How each one charges

We describe how each tool charges rather than list prices, because prices change often.

How Webflow charges

Webflow charges in two layers. Site plans pay for hosting a site, with a custom domain, CMS items and traffic limits, and separate Ecommerce plans cover selling online. Workspace plans pay for the people who build, with seats for designers and editors and features such as code export. There is a free Starter plan on a webflow.io address for trying it out. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and the limits change, so check Webflow’s pricing page for the current details.

How Blaubok charges

There is no required subscription. New accounts get free welcome credits, no card needed. After that, buy credit packs as you go, and the credits never expire, or take an optional monthly plan. AI chat uses credits per message, and each built-in feature is charged once per project, never on rebuilds. GitHub, Supabase and Vercel bill you directly, and all three have free tiers. If your plan and credits run out, there is a 14-day grace period, then the engine is committed into your repo so the site keeps building on its own.

How to move from Webflow to Blaubok

  1. Keep your design references

Screenshot your key pages and note your fonts and colours. You can ask the chat for the same feel, and describe any section you want to keep.

  2. Export your CMS content

Webflow lets you export CMS collections and form submissions as CSV files. Keep those, plus your images, so nothing is lost.

  3. Sign up and describe your business

Connect GitHub, Supabase and Vercel, then tell the chat what you do and who for. It plans the pages and wires in the CRM, bookings or checkout you need.

  4. Build, review, publish

Click Build and the site is live on your Vercel in about five minutes. Further changes by chat wait on a preview until you click Publish.

  5. Move the domain

When the new site is ready, point your domain at Vercel, then end the Webflow site plan.

FAQ

Webflow vs Blaubok: common questions

Is Blaubok a good Webflow alternative?

It is if you’d rather describe your site than design it. Webflow gives designers precise visual control and hosts the result. Blaubok builds the site from a chat, with a CRM, bookings, WhatsApp alerts and payments built in, and keeps the code, data and hosting in your own accounts.

Will a Blaubok site look as good as a Webflow site?

It looks clean and modern, and you can ask for changes in chat, such as a colour, a layout or a new section. But Webflow gives a designer direct control over every pixel and animation, and Blaubok does not. If the design itself is your main goal, Webflow is the stronger tool.

Can I move my Webflow site to Blaubok?

Not as a file import. Export your CMS collections and form submissions as CSV, note the look you want, and describe the business in Blaubok’s chat. It builds a new site in about five minutes, and you bring your content across from there.

Where is Webflow better?

Webflow is better for design-led marketing sites: precise layouts, interactions and animations without code, a mature CMS, and a large community of designers and templates. It is a common choice for agencies. Blaubok has no visual canvas at all.

Does Blaubok have a CMS like Webflow?

It has a blog with an AI writer, a newsletter and forms, managed from your site’s admin alongside the CRM and bookings. Webflow’s CMS is built for designers who want to lay out every collection page visually, which Blaubok does not try to do.

How do the costs compare?

Webflow has site plans for hosting and workspace plans for the people who build. Blaubok has no required subscription: free welcome credits, then credit packs that never expire, or an optional monthly plan, and each built-in feature is charged once per project. Your Vercel, Supabase and GitHub accounts bill you directly, and all three have free tiers.
