How to choose

Three questions to ask first

Every tool on this page is good at something. The right one depends on what you are building and what you want to own.

A custom app, or a business site?

AI app builders such as Lovable, Bolt and Emergent write software from scratch, which suits a new product. A business site needs much the same parts every time: pages, a lead form, bookings, payments. A builder that already has those spends your time on what is unique to you.

Who owns the code, data and hosting?

Some builders keep everything on their own platform. Others let you export the code, or run the site on accounts in your name. Before you start, ask what happens to your site and your customer data if you stop paying.

Is the back office built in?

Leads, bookings and payments are where a business site earns its keep. Check whether they come built in, need plugins or embedded tools, or have to be generated and tested for each project.

Blaubok’s answer to all three: a business site, on accounts you own, with the back office built in. You describe your business in chat, and it builds a real Next.js site with the CRM, bookings, WhatsApp alerts and payments wired in, then deploys it in about five minutes. The code goes to your GitHub, the data to your Supabase and the site to your Vercel. It is not built for arbitrary custom apps, and the pages below say so where it matters.

FAQ

Choosing an AI website builder

What is the best AI website builder in 2026?

There isn’t one answer. For a custom app with its own logic, Lovable, Bolt and Emergent are strong choices. For a site you design visually, look at Wix, Webflow and Framer. For open source with endless plugins, WordPress. Blaubok is built for a business website that needs leads, bookings and payments working from day one, on code, data and hosting you own.

Which AI website builders let me own my code?

Lovable syncs your app to GitHub, Bolt lets you export the code, and Emergent can save it to GitHub. Self-hosted WordPress is fully yours. Wix and Framer don’t export a site’s code, and Webflow exports HTML and CSS on some plans. Blaubok creates the repo in your own GitHub from the first build, with built-in features supplied by a compiled engine package.

Why does Blaubok need GitHub, Supabase and Vercel accounts?

Because that is what makes the site yours. The code sits in your GitHub, the data in your Supabase and the hosting on your Vercel, and you can see and control all of it. All three have free tiers, and the Connections tab walks you through each one.

How current are these comparisons?

We checked them against public information in October 2026. These tools change often, so check each one’s own site before you choose. If you spot something out of date, email info@clickfq.com and we will correct it.

Is Blaubok free to try?

Yes. New accounts get free welcome credits, enough to chat through your brief and build, with no card needed. After that you can buy credit packs that never expire, or take an optional monthly plan.
